Who is KNECT?
KNECT is a Charitable Trust that exists to support and deliver positive and sustainable outcomes for people and nature across the Buller Kawatiri District of West Coast Tai Poutini.
Formed in 2022, KNECT’s mission is to create lasting positive change by identifying, developing, and delivering conservation, biodiversity, restoration, and regenerative economy opportunities across our district, as well as supporting and collaborating with others in our community who are working towards the same goals.

What do we do?
KNECT was founded by 11 Buller Kawatiri locals, comprising of scientists, engineers, planners, teachers, and business professionals.
Our diversity and local knowledge brings a wide range of connections with organisations, projects, and initiatives across the Buller region, united in our efforts to support our communities and our natural environment.
Knect works collaboratively with individuals and groups, offering governance, expertise and funding support for existing and new projects.
