Scott draws on more than two decades of experience in conservation and environmental work across the Buller region, with expertise in ecology, biodiversity management and environmental planning.
With a Doctorate in Ecology, and now working as a Senior Biodiversity Ranger with the Department of Conservation, Scott has extensive experience supporting the protection and management of significant natural environments and species across Te Tai Poutini West Coast. His scientific knowledge and practical field experience bring valuable environmental insight to KNECTâs restoration and conservation initiatives.
Living just outside Westport with his family, Scott has a strong personal connection to the landscapes and ecosystems of the region and enjoys spending time in the ocean and mountains that make Buller Kawatiri such a unique place to live and work.
