Josh Reynolds

Master Health Coach

Born and raised in Buller Kawatiri, Josh Reynolds returned home in 2021 after several years away, including seven years in the New Zealand Army, a further eight years with the New Zealand Defence Force and four years running his own business. His career has centred on leadership, service and helping people reach their potential.

During his time with NZDF, Josh led the Imagery and Geospatial Intelligence teams across New Zealand, managing specialist staff and supporting complex operational capabilities around the world. Today, as a qualified Master Health Coach, he combines leadership experience with a passion for improving health, wellbeing and resilience within the community.

Josh volunteers with CACTUS, supporting local teenagers through fitness and personal development and will soon begin as a Speed Freaks volunteer coach. An accomplished endurance athlete and multi-time Old Ghost Ultra Marathon finisher, he enjoys exploring the Coast’s natural environment with his family. Josh joined KNECT because he believes strong communities are built by people willing to step forward and contribute and is committed to supporting initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Buller Kawatiri.
